High performance cutting eliminates bagging waste (including leaves), while depositing important nutrients into the soil. The EnviroClip Combi Deck features a deep, optimized shape with smooth, rounded corners that pulls and holds grass clippings above the blade for multiple cuts to reduce the size of the discharged clippings. The design then forces these ultra-small clippings down into the turf where they decompose as valuable nutrients. The resulting appearance of a mulched lawn is similar to that of a collected system with a clean, finished cut with almost no visible clippings.
Professionals will also appreciate the time-saving aspect of trimming on either side of the deck since no impeding discharge chute is needed in the mulch design. With no side discharge, there is also no chance of yard debris being accidentally discharged into property such as cars, homes and buildings.
As a commercial grade deck, the EnviroClip Combi is pressed out of 7-gauge steel. The deck is designed with a bend on the perimeter and an additional welded reinforcement bar for added strength to resist damage during impacts. The spindle housings are durable cast aluminum and feature maintenance-free ball bearings for heavy duty commercial use. A removable rear plug can quickly change the deck function to rear discharge for cutting down of extra tall grasses.
The EnviroClip Combi Deck is offered in two cutting widths as part of Husqvarna’s commercial zero-turn product line-up. Either the 52-inch or 61-inch deck is available on the compact iZ series or the full size LZ series models with engine options including Kawasaki, Kohler Command, and Briggs & Stratton Vanguard. In addition to the EnviroClip Combi Deck, Husqvarna’s new 2009 models in the LZ Series include features such as:
• Full suspension Michigan seat
• Rubber discharge shield
• Foot assist deck height control system
• Quick setting deck leveling
Each model is covered by Husqvarna’s five-year limited warranty.
