“The Husqvarna 576XP will provide professionals with much better handling, while still offering the strength, durability and performance that Husqvarna products are recognized for,” said Hans Gunnarsson, product management specialist, professional chain saws, Husqvarna.

Like other models in Husqvarna’s professional line of chain saws, the 576XP includes the X-TORQ engine that provides high power to weight ratio, 60 percent lower emissions and 20 percent lower fuel consumption. It also features Air Injection for longer air filter life and LowVib anti-vibration technology for improved ergonomics.
The Husqvarna 576XP will be available in early November 2008.

Husqvarna Adds Exclusive TrioBrake Feature

Husqvarna has also added new features to select models for 2009. Husqvarna’s exclusive TrioBrake chain brake system, a patented added safety feature, will be available with Husqvarna’s 445e (homeowner) and 346XP (professional) models.

TrioBrake provides slow kickback protection for the user, locking the chain when activated. Users can activate TrioBrake with the right hand as it is positioned near the throttle. This added level of safety is in addition to the standard chain brake system near the front of the chain saw.

The Husqvarna 445e TrioBrake is an easy-to-start chain saw targeted at homeowners. In addition to the X-TORQ engine, Air Injection and LowVib technology, it also includes a fuel window to gauge fuel availability.

Ideal for professionals working with municipalities, the Husqvarna 346XP TrioBrake provides a combination of acceleration, speed, power and maneuverability for tough jobs.

These new products will be available in early December 2008 at Husqvarna dealers nationwide.

50th Anniversary Edition

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Husqvarna chain saws, the company is offering a special anniversary edition of the Husqvarna 450 chain saw. This 3.2-horsepower chain saw will include an anniversary kit that features a soft carrying case, anniversary cap and special logo bar.

Additional Chain Saws for Homeowners

Husqvarna’s 435 and 440e model chain saws offer optimal performance including easy starting and handling. Both feature X-TORQ engine technology, LowVib and Air Injection. The 440 e includes a tool-less chain adjuster.
