Husqvarna Expands Trimmer Product Line and Reduces Emissions with Two New Models

LOUISVILLE, Ky. [October 23, 2008] – Husqvarna adds two new models to its extensive trimmer line for homeowner use, the Husqvarna® 128C and 128L. Equipped with E-TECH engines, these new trimmers combine reduced exhaust emissions without compromising power.

These Husqvarna trimmers are lightweight and easy to operate. The 128C weighing 9.7 pounds has a curved shaft for extended reach and superior ergonomics; while the 128L weighs 10.6 pounds and a straight shaft for larger lawns. Both trimmers are equipped with Smart Start® recoil system and fuel pump designed to make the machine start quickly with minimum user effort. The starter cord resistance on both models is reduced by up to forty percent. Additionally, both auto return stop switches automatically reset the ON position for trouble-free starting.

The128C and 128L have reduced emissions, vibration and noise making them perfect for extended use and homeowner comfort. Both models come with strong braided wire cable drive and an easy-loading T25 semiautomatic trimmer head. A Combi-Guard cutting attachment can be used with either a grass blade or a trimmer head making both models versatile for use in multiple applications.
