The Husqvarna Construction Helmet System combines a UV protected hard hat, adjustable 6-point suspension, 25 dB (A) NRR hearing protectors, face screen, and a rain neck protector into one unique piece. This multi-function system meets ANSI Z89.1-2003 Class G-E-C standards.

The new 2009 Reduced Weight Chain Saw Bars are 26 percent lighter than a standard bar at 32-inch length. They are extremely tough which makes work easier without reducing durability.

Husqvarna’s 2009 wearables line features new Fire Protective Pants (FR) with Nomex®. These chain saw protective pants can be worn all day during activities, just like regular pants. The protective chain saw portion of the garment is encapsulated and sewn down on the inner side of the pant with Nomex™ thread. Pad coverage is in the front with an extra 4 inches to the left of each leg as well as calf coverage from the back of the knee to the ankle. The shell is Westex Ultrasoft™ with an interior lining covering the protective chain saw pad made of Indura™ cloth. The new Fire Protective Pants (FR) meet ASTM F1897 (2750 FPM) standards and NFPA-70E standards for electrical hazard risk Category 2.

In addition to Fire Protective Pants (FR), Husqvarna will offer Fire Protective (FR) Wrap Chaps with Nomex®. The shell is made of Westex Ultrasoft™ with an interior lining covering the protective chain saw pad made of Indura™ cloth. The protective chain saw portion of the garment is encapsulated and sewn down on the inner side of the chap with Nomex™ thread. Pad coverage is in the front with an extra four inches to the left of each leg as well as calf coverage from the back of the knee to the ankle and covered buckle slots and a unique waist belt system. The new Wrap Chap meets ASTM F1897 (2750 FPM) standards and NFPA-70E standards for electrical hazard risk Category 2.

Rounding out the new to the 2009 accessory line up is logoed gear. The Husqvarna logoed Tech Shirt is a heavy duty, durable long sleeve button down shirt. The shirt is made of moisture-wicking and UV protection materials. The Double Thick Sweatshirt is heavy duty with dual layers of 12 oz. 100 percent pre-shrunk cotton. The Sweatshirt also features gusseted armpits, snap closures at the neck and an oversized hood to fit over helmets. The accessory line will also include new baseball caps that are low profile, 100 percent cotton twill.
