All New Safety Apparel, From Head to Toe

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Protective gear needs to be safe, while at the same time functional and comfortable for the operator. Husqvarna manages to marry the two needs in their new Functional Wear, Rain Gear and Pro Forest Helmet System – sensible additions to an already extensive line of safety apparel.
Functional Wear

For year-round chain saw work, loggers have found Functional protective gear to be light-weight and well-fitting for better freedom of movement. Incorporating smart solutions like mobile phone pockets and ventilation make the Forest Jacket and Pants*, a smart choice. Made with Cordura, a durable synthetic material, along with polyester and 4-way stretch material, Functional Wear is ideal for demanding chain saw work in any season.

Rain Gear

When the job has to be done no matter what, landscape professionals often rely on rain protection to weather the storm. Husqvarna’s new Rain Jacket and Pants are made of a strong nylon front and PU/PVC back, along with mesh for ventilation and welded seams ensure a dry fit. The Rain Jacket also features an extended back with a rain gutter that can be draped over the back of a tractor or commercial mower so the rain doesn’t pool in the seat. The Rain pants feature a zipper on the outside leg for easier “on/off.”

Pro Forest Helmet system

This complete helmet system designed for the professional logger combines the essential components of a visor, hearing protectors, sun peak and neck guard. In addition, the 6-piece Ratchet Suspension System in Husqvarna’s new Pro Forest Helmet distributes weight for all-day comfort. Hearing protectors can be adjusted vertically and sideways to ensure noise exclusion with low pressure. The protective visor ensures high visibility along with good water run off.
