Best trimmer ever
I have had this a few years, purchased when just released, had to clarify with staff at shop that it was a 4 stroke. Works great, great running Honda engine, also bought pole saw with it which works great. Split beam works great. Slight ding on ergonomics as I wish it had a strap as trimming my yard takes a while. Quieter & cleaner than 2 stroke-but of course you have engine oil to change-which is a piece of cake. After owning this, can't imagine any other option.

Best Straight Shaft Trimmer Ever Made
I have bought probably over 15 trimmers for my lawn care service over the years, I went out a bought this one for a little bit more money then I paid for all the other junk ones I had. I have not had a problem with this Trimmer. I use the trimmer head, and powerbroom/ sweeper atatcment and it works great, I definitely Recommend this trimmer. im going to buy another one soon.

High Quality Trimmer
This trimmer uses a Honda engine - in fact, you can look under the plastic engine cover and see the Honda stamping on the engine. However, that's a good thing! It was the primary reason I bought this trimmer over the Stihl multi-trimmer. I've had a Honda 4-stroke trimmer for 10 years and its been utterly problem free despite 10 years of commercial use and abuse. My opinion is that the Honda trimmer is better balanced (the Husqvarna is too light on the trimmer head end) but unfortunately Honda does not make a split-shaft trimmer which accepts attachments. The engine is fantastic...and most people would not believe how much higher tech it is compared to other trimmer engines. It actually has a single-overhead cam which is driven by a mini rubber timing belt which is encased in oil. This engine runs super smooth, idles quietly, starts effortlessly, and is GREAT on gas. I highly recommend this; it powers the broom head quite well.

It took me about 5 minutes to assemble it out of the box. It started right up and runs great. You barely even have to have you finger on the gas for it to cut grass. I love how it doesn’t stall if you just let it sit there and idle. Extremely quiet. Other reviews say it is heavy, but I really didn’t notice. I’m 6’5 and I typically have to bend down with most trimmers. This one fits me nice. It is a beast, and the quality is unbelievable. This trimmer is replacing a 4 stroke Ryobi. The Ryobi attachments do not work on this trimmer, and I am kinda glad they do not. It stinks to have to buy new ones, but the attachment system is far superior to Ryobi. It has a strong positive seat, no wiggles, very firm. I am a freak about quality, and I have no complaints here.

Great Engine, garbage trimmer attachment
After owning a Troybilt that died before the 1 yr warranty, I went back to Lowes and purchased a more expensive edger/trimmer. Unfortunately the Line spool is the same old take it apart and wrap new line style. One major pain in the grass! I immediately changed out the lower trimmer half with my 15 yr old Ryobi trimmer attachment with a speed spool that I can reload with line without ever removing the spool. 15 yr old technology that still works perfect and saves 15-20 minutes of time. That is provided that the line feed button isnt stuck and impossible to unscrew (like the Husq did. I never did get new line on it)

I have had the 324ldx just over a year and love it. It starts everytime as long as you start it the way it calls for. The only thing I don't like is changing the oil but if it keeps me from haveing to buy a new one every two years I am all for it. Power is great and has more then any other I have ever had. TheBEST thing about it is that it is very quite.

This Product is worth the value !
So far I've had the trimmer for about a month and it's worked great for me . It's easy to start and handle , I like not having to mix the oil with the gas like I had to with my other two cycle trimmer .
