My first Husqvarna Product
This pole saw is my first Husq product and I love it. I have always heard good things about Husq and knew people that have had their products. This saw cuts like crazy and has more than adequate reach. I was surprised at it's weight and handling. I thought it would be much harder to operate.
It also starts very easily. A couple of pulls at first with the choke set, but then after that it starts on the first pull.
Only had it about a month, but it if continues as good it maybe one of my best buys ever.

It is a Monster!
Have twenty acres of forest to clear beneath and this saw is a Monster. Cut with this and a Husqvarna 345 for 5 hours without breaking a sweat. The pole saw cuts as fast as the 345 and is so well balanced that after cutting branches 15 to 18 feet up, it can be balanced with a finger. Try that with the cheap pole saws from the box stores like Home.... and when you finish cutting the branch, the saw falls like a rock to the ground. One of the best investments that you can make. It just doesn't quit. And starts easier than the 345. The bar chain oil review outlasts the gas mix which is somewhat unusual if you have had chain saws. The only thing to watch out for is that the branches should be cut from the end to the tree trunk in 4 foot increments. I cut off several 30 foot horizontal branches on my live oaks and went it came down to the ground is caught the end of the pole and bent the shaft. Had to buy a replacement shaft for about $100.

Pole Trimmer
I have been very happy with this pole trimmer. It makes trimming branches easy. The harness makes handling the saw easier. The only problem is... if you saw one hour, it takes two hours to drag and stack the brush pile the pole saw made. It would take two men to keep up with the brush pile one man can make with this saw.

Great Pole Saw
I have just purcased this pole saw and have used it only once but I feel confident that it will serve it's purpose to my full expectations. The unit was fairly easy to assemble and prepare for use. The unit was easy to start right out of the box. The harness supplied with the saw was easy to put on and adjust to fit and was instrumental in balancing the saw while cutting/pruning procedures. Including this harness with the saw as a unit was a plus for other manufacturers sold their harnesses separately. The first task for this saw was to prune broken limbs out of several oak trees on my property and the saw performed excellently. The only negative complaint I have would be that I couldn't reach high enough to reach those upper branches.

Quality Counts in this type product
Excellent quality. Easy start. Easy to assemble and use. The body harness is a little confusing at first, but is an absolute necessity to use the saw safely and without fatique. Purchased over internet and packaging could be improved for shipping (maybe an outer box), but the product did in fact arrive in good condition, but the packaging was in shambles.

Gets the job done.
I needed something to reach up to ten (or more) feet high for forest thinning. This unit is easy to start, runs smooth and is fairly quiet with power to spare. It is easy to transport as well, by breaking down to 2 pieces. The anti-vibration device makes my life a lot easier as well. This unit is not 'ultra-light', so I would not recommend it for light duty small trees, it is built well for professional use. The harness can accomedate large framed fellows such as myself, and makes cutting much more effective and safer.

"Balance Flex" harness works only for the right-handed person
My 327P5x saw works fine, but the harness is a problem. Pictures in the owner's manual (e.g., page 15) show the saw held on the right side of the body with the right hand on the throttle button and the left hand maneuvering the saw. However....the "balance flex" harness works only for the opposite, the saw on the left side with the left hand on the throttle and the right hand on the pole. In other words, the harness is designed for only right-handed persons and there is no adjustment for those who are left handed. I have made a sling such as is shown in the owner's manual, but anyone purchasing this product should be aware of the non-reversible nature of the harness provided.
