HUSQVARNA 576 XP®
Powerful, Low Vibe, East starting saw
I bought one of these in the spring and have cut about 4-5 cords of firewood with it so far. Mostly Elm and Oak here in WI, and I am running a 24" bar with full chisel chain. It cuts through hardwood like butter and is very fuel efficent for something with this much power. It is a tad bit hefty, but would you expect anything else for a 70+ cc saw!?!

does not last
i am a logger that works 7 days a week alot. this was my 2nd 576. it didnt even last 90 days before the barrings went out. i went 2 years before trying it again. same thing happened to me again. husqavarna took care of me both times first time they gave me a 372 nice saw but lasted 4 months. this time going to try 390 hope i have better luck or i will have to go to stihl. i really like the 576 and it would be great for cutting fire wood on the weekends but running it 10 to 12 hours a day it wont last. if it lasted at least a year i would buy one every year i really like the power it has. it really rips when it is running.

Nice step up
I bought a 576xp to handle the bigger cuts that were a bit much for my 346xp. The 576 rips through red oak and is surprisingly nimble and easy to run for long periods of time. I ran an MS 460 for a while and the 576 is significantly easier to handle from a vibration standpoint.

25 year upgrade
My new 576 XP replaces a 25 year old 266 XP. The improvements in ease of starting and ergonomics are very nice and I expect the new saw to last just as long.

I bought this saw because it had the best power to weight ratio of any large saw on the market. Over the last year of ownership I've cut over 10 cord of wood and couldn't be happier with the weight, performance, and trouble free operation. This is a very powerful saw that's comfortable to run all day and uses very little fuel for a saw of this caliber. A must have in your arsenal of saws. I would buy another in a second. Home owner who cuts his own firewood from stump to stove.

Husqvarna 576xp with 24" Bar and chain
I purchased a 576xp chainsaw from my local Husky dealer. The saw came with a 24" bar and chain. This is my first Husky saw. I normally use dolmars, and stihls. All I can say is this saw has exceeded all my expectations, and some more! It cuts faster than my stihl ms 460 in pin oak. I am really happy with the purchase. It's lighter, and just a pleasure to run all day. The anti-vib sys. is awesome! you can run this saw full throttle all day, and not have your hands fall asleep.

All I was hoping for and then some
I've owned Husqvarna for 30yrs. Ive never had a problem and they just keep getting better. However, the hole for the bar oil is to close to the handle which makes it too hard to fill with certain jugs of oil.

I am starting a firewood buisiness and needed a bigger saw. I went with the 576xp. I didn't the money for the next saw up saw but I am convinced I did well with this purchase. I ran the saw for about four hours yesturday and was impressed. I was somewhat concerned with the weight difference over my 455. I like the 576xp better. I am running a 32" inch bar and full skip chain. The tree i was working on has a huge trunk, the diameter is bigger than the overall length of the saw and bar. It never slowed this beast down. Husqvarna, thank you.
