All I was hoping for and then some I've owned Husqvarna for 30yrs. Ive never had a problem and they just keep getting better. However, the hole for the bar oil is to close to the handle which makes it too hard to fill with certain jugs of oil. May 13, 2012
Holey Horsepower! I am starting a firewood buisiness and needed a bigger saw. I went with the 576xp. I didn't the money for the next saw up saw but I am convinced I did well with this purchase. I ran the saw for about four hours yesturday and was impressed. I was somewhat concerned with the weight difference over my 455. I like the 576xp better. I am running a 32" inch bar and full skip chain. The tree i was working on has a huge trunk, the diameter is bigger than the overall length of the saw and bar. It never slowed this beast down. Great saw Being a farmer and not a full time logger I was hesitant to spend the money for the 576xp saw. Glad I did though, as I do go through quite a bit of wood clearing fence rows, groves, and cutting firewood for an outdoor wood furnace. It has the power to go through wood quickly. It does have a little heft, but the chainsaw is well balanced, and the weight is expected of a saw of this size and power. Starts easily and runs smooth. February 8, 2012
Brilliant chainsaw The power and build quality are amazing. Easy to start and quite economic on the fuel considering the size and power. Cuts through wood like a knife through butter and is a beautiful saw as well. wouldn't choose any other saw in hindsight. February 2, 2012
Very Impressive so far. Definitely beats the hand me down 30 year old Echo I was using. I bought this saw along with a blower and am very impressed with both. I'm clearing my backyard of 12 trees, all about 50 yrs old. I've gotten through three so far and the saw has performed excellent so far. Switching bars is relatively easy, the bar lubrication system is superior to any of the other makes I looked at and the ergonomics/ weight placement seem better than the rest of the field too. I'm confident that when I hand this one down in 30 years it will still be an efficient tool. January 5, 2012
ONE GREAT CUTTING SAW I HAVE A SMALL TREE COMPANY AND USE THIS SAW EVERY DAY WITH A 24 IN BAR AND A SKIP TOOTH CHAIN AND I JUST LOVE THE POWER AND HOW IT FEELS I ALSO RUN A 32 INCH BAR ON IT FOR BIGGER WOOD .I WANT TO TRY IT SOMEDAY WITH A 20 INCH BAR .IF YOU WANT A GREAT SAW TO CUT WOOD THIS IS IT!!!! The best ever I have owned over 30 husqvarna chain saws in the last 35 years and by far the best on that they have ever built . The cost of the saw warrents using it daily . Very reliable Saw I cut about 25 cords of wood per year and this saw is great I also have a construction buisness and the light weight saw help us trim trees and work it high in the air when we need to. I have two ot the 576 XP and would have anything else!! November 1, 2011
