extraordinary workhorse... power to spare. super durable (if the saw is kept clean after each use). requires extreme attention to detail while sharpening chains. each cuttooth must be filed to the exact same length because of the torque applied by this bad Oscar. I can be so gentle with my recoil start only applying a 3" pop to the 576 XP G because it is so dependable coming to life. a saw of this caliber deserves high octane fuel. I baby all of my saws by thoroughly blowing them out with my compressor after each and every use, then doing the touchup with a soft bristle paint brush before reassembly. this saw is my absolute favorite out of the entire fleet, but it is priced a biddy bit on the high side for most peoples comfort level, and that is unfortunate because I wish all woodsmen could experience the enormous difference a tool like this 576XP G makes in saving you're lower back while working. If you can convince the wool to allow you to part with this many semolians, then you will be happy as a lark... August 15, 2014
