Husqvarna 562 XP
I have owned this saw for 2 months now. It is the nicest saw I have ever had my hands on. I have ran other professional saws before and this saw leaves the others in the dust. It has lots of power in a lighter weight package. The best purchase I could have made!!!

This saw is excellant. There is nothing bad to say about this saw, it is powerful, light, no vibrations. I was a little worried to buy the auto tune because the local dealers didn't recommend them in northern canada, because of the extreme cold weather. So far it starts great and I have had no starting problems at all.

love the rev boost
This is my 3rd husky and i love it so far. The new on/off switch is nice that you are always in the on position . The side cover nuts have holders that keep them on the cover when removing cover is a nice feature. I am a firewood cutter and i plan on using this saw for many years to come. My only concern is the oil pump is under the sprocket and could possibly get damaged if you throw a chain but overall i love the saw.

some good changes, some not so good
i have owned many husqvarna and stihl power saws, i own a logging company and we use all sizes. the performance of this saw is great but husqvarna failed to update the oiling system. after 2 days of use, the threads stripped off the oil drive. i use only husqvarna bar oil. i wish they had fixed this problem. had same problem with 357. otherwise, great little saw.

Hot rod with handles
Incredible power for its size and very smooth. Handles like a 55cc saw with the power and grunt of a 70cc pro saw. Pulls hard thru large oak without while keeping eng speed up. Hard to make it bog down. I also have a 357xp which is a very good saw but it doesn't come close to the 562. My old favorite was my 254xp because it was light and powerful for its size. As much as I love that saw I always wished I would have bought a 262xp for the bigger stuff. If you only want to take one saw to the woods the 562 is the one. I give it a 5 for durability based on prior experience with husky saws. Time will tell with this one.

I like the new design
This saw is powerful and light weight. We have a tree farm and are actively involved in the timber harvests. I've been using this saw daily for a month now. I was concerned that the auto tune might cause trouble. But it's great. The saw starts and runs perfectly. No stalling out when first starting up the very cold saw. I have a $250 gift certificate from competition. I felt a little foolish not using it. But the other saws are heavier and more expensive for the same engine size. I'm glad I bought this one.

I traded in a stihl 460 magnum for my 562XP. So far I am very happy with the trade, reminds me of my 262XP which was my favorite.
