HUSQVARNA 562 XP®
Smoothest saw I have ever ran
This is a awesome fire wood saw that runs a 24in bar with ease and the balance is perfect.. The problem is with mine is that when it's warm there is a hesitation off idle and it takes 3 to 5 pulls to start warm.I broke the saw in just as it said to by cut a large log wot for 3-5 min. Took the saw to the dealer to have them look at it they started and said it seems ok to them. The dealer says they don't even have the stuff to plug it in.. Seems to me I know more about auto tune than my dealer. Hope I can get this problem fixed dealer says just keep running it.Great saw except for that just wish I had a good dealer. A 550xp was gonna be my next saw but at this point I dunno.

Well after 18 years of faithful service my old 262 gave it up. I replaced it with this new 562XP. I came straight home and cut a cord of wood. So far I love it! Light, quick rev! Plenty of pulling power. I would have gave all 5 on performance but I need to take it back for a tune. It has a slight hesitation from idle to throttle. I am sure the dealer will get it lined out. As far as value, if it last 18 years like the last one-the value will be there too! If you want a great saw, spend the extra cash! You get what you pay for!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Husqvarna for great products! I will be a customer for life!

So far, so good.
Went to the dealer with the intention of buying a 372XP, but was asked to consider the 562. After being given a chance to run both at the shop (why don't more shops do this?) I decided to go with the 562. The weight difference feels pretty dramatic for the small amount that it actually is. After getting the saw into the woods along side my 455, it is REALLY impressive! The power you get out of the 60cc engine is great. And... it used less fuel with a 28" chain than the 455 did with a 20". Only downside so far is that with the wrap handle, I cannot find a box that fits it. Too nice of a saw to leave it bounce around in the pickup (or on the equipment in my case.)

this saw cuts very fast.if your not a serious wood cutter beware.i have always owned the other orange brand.they dont make a saw close to it.ya there is bigger and badder. i have ran them all,but as i get older the weight and vibration on the 572 xp is a lot easier on my body.and yes it pulls a 28 inch bar right thru madrone and doug fir.just make sure to file the chain at 25 not 30.wrap around handle is kinda a pain when trying to lube needle bearings, tools are different sizes than my other huskys.

562xp is one awsome saw
I just replaced my 10 year old 357xp with the 562xp. my 357 was an awesome saw with great power ,speed and lightweight. In ten years all I did was replace the oiler once. Now I run 3 tanks of fuel out on the 562xp and I am amazed at how much more power it has over the 357xp. Unreal .. Husqvarna hit the mark perfect with this saw

Fantastic saw. I have had landowner and Pro versions of several different saws from Husqvarna, Stihl, Dolmar, McCulloch and Homelite. I bought the 562 to replace an old 039 Stihl which I lost in a vehicle fire (along with a MS660 Stihl, Husqvarna 55 and 346xp). I had tried the MS362 and did not like the weight or feeling for the size of the saw. The 562 is much lighter and handles much better. The Dolmar 6100 had not been introduced at the time or I may have given it some consideration. The a/v system on this saw has to be used to be believed as this is the smoothest saw I've run yet, hands-down. The 550xp and old 346xp would be the closest comparisons I can make. It starts very reliably given that you read and follow the user's manual and will run longer on a tank of fuel than most people would likely care to operate a saw. I don't use the adjustable oilers, other than to open them up completely as I like to have enough oil when cutting hard-woods. The saw feels even lighter than it actually is due to the wonderful ergonomics. It takes a few tanks to loosen up but when it does it really comes alive. One word of caution: let the saw warm up and stabilize before cutting and it will run much better. I cut 20-30 cords a year on average.

Love the saw but...
I bought two of these saws in the spring of 2012 ...bought the second one because they were so new in my area no one stocked any parts yet .... use one of these every day it's going to break and it's going to get smashed and broke up a little. The first saw has been an awesome saw maybe even the best saw I have ever had ( and I have had a lot of them, over 30 years of this) the second saw was mainly a spare but recently decided to run it as the main saw for this year, but it has quit 2 or 3 times this summer and there is no way that it will run, dealer says that the computer needs to be reprogrammed problem is that no one has the tool to reprogram it ,and huskqvarna wants the dealer to buy the tool, but if they only sell a few of these saws it is hardly worth it as they want over $600.00 for it, if I would have known this I would have bought a stihl instead.
