This blower is powerful and easy to use. Having used several hand held blowers over the years, I find the Husqvarna 150BT far superior in numerous ways. It starts well, is much quieter and comfortable in long use . I find the controls very helpful, and the blower has more than enough power to handle the movment of large amounts of leaves. I highly recommend it. December 13, 2011
great power It took about 5 minutes to assemble the blower tube, filled with gas and started second pull. Compared to my old hand held machine it is fantastic. Once on your back you dont even notice it is there and runs for about 1.20 hours on a tank of gas. December 13, 2011
great value for the price I pondered spending a lot of money on something like this for awhile but having my experiences with hand held blowers that were difficult for me to handle and were comparable in price, I went with this model. So glad I did. It fits on my back like a glove. I like the throttle control on the tube assembly, but if it was separate and on the left it would allow me to use my left hand and not let the strap slide off. December 9, 2011
It's awesome I own a home on an acre of land here in central Arizona, where my neighbor is the wonderful Sonoran Desert wide open for hundreds of miles. Needless to say sand, dust and drifts are my constant companions. This bad boy helps me win the battles in this sand war. Keeping my driveway, patio, and property around this place has been a joke, until now. Sand now fears me. December 5, 2011
Awesome products! I have used this brand for a long time. It always pleases me with how easy they are to use and the durability. December 4, 2011
Does everything I wanted it to do I have several Hickory trees around the house and this blower even moves the hickory nuts. Make sure to get them before it rains because nothing will move them once embedded in dirt. I have a cove surrounded by timber where the leaves get pretty deep and it moves them well also. Didn't even use the small tube. The harness is comfortable, the blower is not all that loud and has very little vibration. Quite easy to start. Haven't had it long so do not know how it will last but by reputation should be good I hope. December 4, 2011
Wonderful Machine I still own a rake and broom, but I don't know how I would survive without this machine. The blower is wonderful...I use it to clean up after mowing, get leaves up, clean the deck, blow out the garage, etc. Tough machine, a tank of gas goes a long way...I just love this thing. Backpack vs handheld I have always used a handheld blower to clear leaves on a 1 acre wooded lot but as one gets older the task becomes harder. This year I decided to invest in a backpack for power and ease of use. When I'm going to spend a lot of time blowing it's well worth wearing a backpack since it is less fatiguing than using a handheld. I was not disappointed -- this unit worked well and it's very easy to start. Vibration is low and with proper ear protection quiet for the operator. Assembly is pretty straightforward but use some lubricant as suggested in the manual when assembling the tubes to reduce the frustration. I haven't parked my trusty handheld unit since I find it a lot more convenient for tight places and spot cleanup, but for heavy duty clearing over a period of time the backpack is best. This model has a waist band which is good but a strap to connect the shoulder straps at chest level to keep them from trying to slide off the shoulders would be an improvement. November 30, 2011
