HUSQVARNA 150BT 4.7 5 360 360
Excellent product This product is outstanding and just the right size for my .65 acre heavily wooded property. I found it a little difficult to assemble and the instructions were less than clear. Also, the manual described a primer button on the unit that was not there, which I found a little confusing. However, in the end, it starts easily and runs like crazy! It gets a little warm on your back, which I understand a more expensive model addresses with a ventilation space. Would be nice on this unit, too. October 28, 2012
Great Blower This blower is great! I got it about a month ago and love it so much I've been doing my neighbors yard to keep going. Even my wife wanted to used it last week... which might had sold three more of these units because I can't help but notice three neighbors went out and bought the same unit since she did that. I just did a little spray of WD-40 on the tube assembly, which they now suggest on the new assembly direction, and the tube slipped together and locked in place with no effort at all. Proof that they listen to their customers. If I could suggest Husqvarna one thing, it would be to add a step peddle so when I start it I can have a firm position of the unit instead of trying to hold it still with my other arm. Pretty simple thing that would make this great piece of equipment even better. If you haven't gone out and got one yet then seriously, stop waiting like I did, and just get it. You won't be sorry you did. October 27, 2012
This blower performs better than more pricey ones. After using this blower for several weeks i'm very satisfied with it's performance. It starts easily every time,it is very comfortable to wear, and is fairly quiet compared to other blowers i've owned in the past.My property is just under an acre with alot of large trees and surrounded by woods, needless to say too many leafs in the fall. This blower handled the job and cut down the job time.I'm a extremely satisfied customer! October 27, 2012
Saves me about four hours This blower was the best piece of yard equipment I ever bought. I have a little over a 1/2 acre yard with very large trees. With my previous blower it took me almost 4 1/2 hours to clear my yard, now it takes 30 minutes. Well worth every penny . Powerful , comfortable , and started up with ease. I highly recommend this product . October 26, 2012
150BT wow In a day of products that do not deliver expected quality and value, this tool knocks it out of the park. Great preformance, reliable, power, and affordable. I have 3 giant oak trees, 75-100 ash trees on 3/4 acre of land and this tool can blow all the leaves into the woods. I may be able to get rid of my rakes! Thank-you for making my life a lot easier! The 150BT is a great blower overall Since my handheld blower (Husq 125B) has been a very reliable tool, I felt confident in going with another Husqvarna product when upgrading to a backpack. Out of the box, I had this blower together in about 10 minutes. I have been using this blower for only about a week now, and I am very pleased with it. It has started up on the first pull every time (provided I had the switch in the "on" position). The blower is comfortable to have on. The throttle lever handle is positioned well, while the swivel and sliding of the grip is very handy. October 23, 2012
Happy in New England I live in Maine and we have about an acre of mostly Maple, Oak and Pine trees. I mow about half of that. This year must have been a record harvest of acorns and pine cones which feed many animals and birds but are a mess. I had a 170 MPH hand-held blower and would come to a point where it just couldn't move the leaves at a certain height and weight. This slowed me down and wasted gas as I slowly moved part of the pile at a time. With the new blower it just blows the leaves, pine needles, acorns, and pine cones, period. No waiting. I heard the the instructions were not great and that was true. There have been so many comments about this so you might want to take the hint. The drawings are very small without the level of detail I would have expected, that I needed, or I would have included if I designed it. So I went on YouTube and found several great videos that showed set-up and all aspects or running the machine. Your YouTube videos were extremely helpful, however, you should add a link to them on your website (unless I missed it). With the videos set-up was a breeze. You will need extra tools than the one provided. Overall I am very satisfied and after the first start it started on the first pull every time. I also had no issue with the noise using my ear protectors. I used about a tank and a half to do my yard and noticed no smoke or smell. It is difficult to see how you could go wrong. I am going to see if I can find the additional handle on the left side of the blower arm that I have seen in photographs. I think that would also allow me to use my left hand to move the arm instead of just my right. I am 6'4" tall and the machine works for my hight if that is ever a question for you. It would be a nice option to be able to purchase any extra length of pipe on the website. Thank you Lowe's for the sale which saved a few dollars. Husqvarna, thanks for a great product.
