My second 355FX
I use my Husqvarna 355 daily to cut black cherry.
In the Netherlands is this to be rampant
This is my second 355 the first i used that for 3 years over 2500 hours, my 355 were the first one in West Europe

better than a goat. land clearing power to cut through the brush and berries at ground level with out any power loss that others have had.

355FX
I have finally given up on the (other) trimmer and went for the BIG KAHUNA of clearing saws the 355FX what a night and day differance. There is power to spare and nothing slows it down allways hungery for more no matter what, sawing or trimming. It does seem heavy when you lift it but with the balance harness it comes with its easy to handle all day its like walking in a park. Thank you for the best on the market...Keep out of reach of childern THIS IS NOT A TOY...its great

toughness
this product is exactly what is says forest clearing product. It will cut hard wood sapplings and clear all underbrush. Great tool for your land clearing needs

Awesome brush cutter,weed wacker. Other than the dealer putting the blade on backwards(upside down) I've had nothing but good things to say about this machine. I was tentative at first with the brush cutting blade, but then I saw a Husqvarna video showing a pro demonstrating its use, WOW!!! Too bad I can't buck up wood with it, but then that is why I have my 372 Husqvarna chain saw. The pro line is well worth the extra money in time saved and dependability.

Design flaws
When this runs, it works very well. Durability is highly suspect, though.
After two weeks of use, the piston broke. Looking on the internet, this has happened to a number of users. Also, the filter lets a lot of dirt particles through. The inside of the filter box is coated with dirt after 8 hours use.
