Amazing saw I have used this saw for several years now. It’s a great saw, power is good. You don't have the fatigue and the end of the day because of the low vibration. The weight of the saw is heavy, as you would expect being an 8.5 hp saw. I have a 36 inch bar attached to the saw which I use to not only to cut very large trees, but making my own boards using the Alaskan Lumber Mill. The 3120 xp does use gas; of course it’s a large saw. I do like the automatic oiler and if you need more oil, there is also a lever to add more buy simply moving the lever. I have found this saw great for the work I do with it. October 9, 2011
power to spare use a skip tooth chain ! this thing has plenty of power to pull it ! October 1, 2011
Great saw for Chain Saw Milling A very big heavy saw, but put a 3 to 4 ft bar and ripping chain on it, and it will do the job. Lasts forever with good care, parts always available, hard to imagine a better heavy saw. Not for the faint of heart or weak of limb. February 23, 2011
