Not very happy with this snowblower I bought this snow thrower brand new. Used it once for 30 minutes. Will not start anymore. Having a hard time getting it serviced through warranty. Very disappointed. January 30, 2012
Worked very well.... I bought my 924HV last week from a local dealer because I was tired of fixing my 20 year old previous blower. In that week I have used my new Husqvarna 3 times. The last use was a 5" snowfall and it handled it very well. I cleared my driveway and a neighbors, so I have been able to use the unit quite a bit and get used to it. It has plenty of power and the one-handed operation is great when I need to adjust the chute angle and rotation while on a run. The headlight is a new-to-me option and a great addition. It has been an easy one-pull start each time even without choking on a very cold days. I will say the unit is a bit heavy, but I didn't have the money to upgrade to the model with steering, so I guess I will have to live with that. I also find that the chute deflector won't adjust far enough down for me in some tight spaces. Not sure if that can be adjusted. That's a minor issue for now, though. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase so far. January 22, 2012
Great, quality machine....Husqvarna at its best... This snow blower can handle the winter blues. Living in the state of Maine you need to have a machine that can handle 1-2 major snow storms a week. This machine can handle it with ease and enjoyment. The snow thrower can chuck this snow about 50-60 feet with no problem. A great buy and well worth the extra money for the extra bit of muscle and power. January 14, 2012
awesome so far just got it; started easily; really throws the snow. I used to dred snow fall, now I welcome it. Bring it on ! January 4, 2012
Good quality snow thrower, minor issue... This is a good product with the quality construction, metal chute, ease of assembly ect. I have only one issue in that; I can not seem to contact husqvarna. I ordered this off amazon.com, so there really is no dealer to talk to... My reason for needing to contact husqvarna is that I am missing the cable mount for the chute tilt control, it has the nut and bolt for it but no cable mount, it is not even in the parts list in the manual. That is my only complaint, otherwise like my lawn mower it is a quality product with durability where its needed, along with comfortable controls. December 7, 2011
Great machine! I used this machine through a winter of repeated, heavy snowfalls and it never disappointed me. It had as much power as I needed for quite a long driveway. Great on gas too. October 21, 2011
snow blower hard to handle This blower starts and runs good. But the performance is poor. First the speed contral has several small slots to shift into and its hard to get into the correct speed. Second the blower rides up and then hangs up on hard pack snow causing a hard to controll skipping motion. I have tried to adjust the shoes to prevent this but has not helped. I want to say that I use a simplicity at work and had had a 15 year old toro at the house both were superior to this machine. October 10, 2011
