Husqvarna 64

Manual reel mowers are friendly to the environment and to your lawn. A hardened reel blade and bedknife on the NovoCut work in concert to shear grass when the mower is pushed forward. Ball bearings on the wheels reduce friction, allowing the operator to push with less effort compared to traditional reel mowers.

I love this mower! 1st Plus: this mower always starts. 2nd: it almost rolls itself across the lawn/garden area. 3rd: I have hills, mounds, fine grass, coarse grass, dandelions, ferns, and it cuts all with ease. The only limitation is the operator's stamina. It also is amazingly light-weight. A question: How do you recommend it to be sharpened? It looks to be almost 'self sharpening' ?? I don't have a service shop in my small town/area. June 30, 2011
Bad Engineering After owning several lesser known brands, I decided to spend the money and buy what I thought would be top of the line but was I ever wrong. This mower represents the worst engineering I have ever seen - as soon as you start pushing, the roller (light plastic) lifts off the ground and the blades start hacking. No matter what you do, this mower will not cut evenly. Save your money and buy one less expensive - you will get a much better value. August 1, 2011
Husqvarna 64; Not recommended The mower is priced a bit higher than American made brand. Husqvarna does not sell a sharpening kit nor does Customer Support does not have any knowledge of the mower. Sharpening services don't like the mower because it's too light, and after sharpening does not perform well. June 27, 2011
