The Best!
Hi, i just love this versatile little work horse, being a female, i was apprehensive about using it for the first time, that was nearly 2 years ago, and i can honestly say there isn't very many days in the week that it is not being used. It mows, or mulches its way around our 5 acres with ease, its easy to maneuver in tight spaces and has plenty of power on the long run. Nothing more satisfying looking over neatly cut grass, and a tidy yard. I cant imagine being without, its just "the best".

Great Little Giant Tractor
This rider works great, it corners and manuvers around all of the yard obstacles. The tractor has a lot of power, and is very efficent on gas. This tractor cuts your mowing time. This is the best entry level ridder out there.

Pro and Con
The LTH18538 is good machine. Battery and gas filer are easily accessable. The seat is very comfortable and adjustable. Steering is great because it handles easily and turns tight.
I have two complaints. One is the control handle for the cutting deck in the left fender is too heigh and will come in contact with mail boxes etc when getting close which I do. Secondly, the foward/reverse handle on the right fender, the detent is too severe. I realize there might be a saftey issue i:e:, you have to really be aware of the position of the handle in order to go from one or the other direction. It's not a smooth move.
All in all I love the machine.

I've only used this tractor a limited time for mowing a 1/3 acre yard, it is doing a great job and feels comfortable.

Has Definitely Reduced My Cutting Time
I purchased my Husqvarna LTH18538 to replace my Ariens RM830 rider which was showing it's age. Since my yard is less than a 1/2 acre I needed a smaller tractor with bagger and the LTH18538 was it.
Pros: * Better turning radius and level cuts on the turn. * No problem with long, wet grass plugging the bagger chute. * Comfortable seating. * Plenty of power to get the job done. * Overall it has reduce my grass cutting time. * Bagger holds a generous amount of clippings.
Cons: * Gas tank location could be better. I have trouble filling from a gas can without the use of a funnel. Gas filler neck should either be higher or not set back as far under cowling. * Lettering on dash could be more durable. Accidently splash a little gas on the dash and the white lettering smeared when wiping up. I now have a 2 month old tractor with a cheesey looking dash. * Needs an blade lift kit for use with the bagger to increase suction. Small sticks and pines cones aren't all picked up with the first cutting pass like I had been use to.

Great quality mower for the price
I purchased the mower about a month ago. I am very pleased with its proformance and quality. It provides a smooth level cut and a comfortable ride. The 18.5 hp engine produces plenty of power for the 1.5 arce of grass that I cut once a week. I would recommend this mower for anyone with a small to medium lawn.

Outstanding all around tractor
After comparing all models in this category, my Husqvarna beats all comers. Powerful, compact, great turning radius and priced just where I needed it to be. I like the variable speeds and ability to cut in reverse. Also enjoyed the sales, service right near home. For my money, it goes to Husqvarna.

poor material used in top of grass catcher
The material used in the making of the top cover to the grass catcher is not very strong. we have replaced ours twice due to cracking where the pins go thru to hold the top on.these tops are not cheap. We do believe you should look into the construction of these tops & make them more durable. by the way love the tractor !
