good saw for your money my father bought me this saw for my birthday. Tor the money, cc, and wieght this saw is a good buy for the average consumer that wants to do light duty stuff around the property. It does have one downfall though. it is a cold natured saw to get started but once it is warmed upped it handles very well. February 2, 2012
Great saw for clearing limbs and smaller trees Purchased this saw as a replacement for my ancient Poulan Micro XXV that I use extensively for working up the smaller limbs on trees I have cut down for firewood. I think the 235 will work in as a great replacement, providing good reliable power in a small, easy to handle package. I have had a 455 Rancher for several years and it has never let me down so it was natural for me to consider another Husqvarna to handle the lighter work. I think the 235 does that and will provide years of reliable service I expect from a saw. February 1, 2012
A Breeze Best chain saw I've ever had that runs great in cold weather. Light weight, cuts thru wood with a breeze. January 24, 2012
Does all that I hoped The saw does all that I expected from it. Very handy to have January 22, 2012
Husqvarna 235 This is A great saw for light work, if and when you get it started. I have to hold down throttle EVERYTIME to start it. VERY HARD TO GET RUNNING! I've had it for 2 weeks, bought it brand new. But once it''s runnig it's good. And I've read the online article of proper starting, which helps none. Too late to return it so I'm stuck. It's a good value for the price, but just spend the extra money and GET THE RANCHER! You won't go wrong. I'm about to purchase a rancher after testing out a friends, so I'm kicking myself for not just paying a little extra for the rancher! Thought this would be enough for what I needed but I was wrong! My first Husqvarna chain saw This is a reliable, safe and easy to use chain saw. Comparing with Poulan it make a real difference as design, ergonomic, maneuvrability and safety. December 4, 2011
Great light to mediun duty I live in Ct. My home is surroundedby large oak trees. During the Oct. 29th snow storm dozens of branches up to 10" came down. The saw made the cleanup task quick and easy. I havn't had a need to cut more than 10" but I feel confident the saw will perform well. November 25, 2011
Awesome little saw Just bought the saw a couple of weeks ago and used it once. Started great out of the box and performed well for a 10 minutes cutting job I had to do. The most noticeable feature is that it has a very low noise level. Very little vibration and good power for the weight of the saw. For the price it seems like a good value. This is my first Husky. I have a Stihl chain saws that has been excellent for 20 years without needing repais. Hope this Husky can get close to my Stihl in performance November 17, 2011
