HUSQVARNA 562 XP®
I'm all out of love...for my old saw
I knew that it would take something special for me to retire my 30 yr. old 70cc John Deere(Echo) saw.
I also knew that the weight of my old saw was killing my aging body but,I still needed a 20" saw with guts.
While researching various saws I spotted the 562XP and checked into it.I liked the looks, features, reviews and WEIGHT.
Bought one and I love it,does everything better than my old 20 incher and doesn't beat me up.I never considered Huskys because they seemed to be hard starters but,now they have primer bulbs and mine starts easily.
My old 20 incher will be going on Ebay along with my 18" middle saw as this saw fills the gaps of both.
My only concern is the electronics for the long run as this seems to be unchartered waters for chainsaws.
I especially like that this saw tends to stay much cleaner than my other saws which may be due to the chain oiler,it has three distinct setting which are set according to bar length, this is much better than the infinite settings on other saws that keep you guessing and wiping.
This saw is so well thought out that Iam hard pressed to find a fault with it.
I like to have service manuals for all of my equipment and so far I'm not sure Husqvarna offers one.

great little powerhouse
Been cutting for many years now always with a XP. Don't like taking a back-up saw and I have never returned home without wood because my saw wouldn't run. Bought the 562 xp for the power to weight ratio, 4.8hp for 12.6 pounds thats crazy and this saw delivers. bought the saw with a 24" bar but went down to a 20" the ergos are so comfortable and I like the feel of the lighter tighter saw. starts better than any saw I have owned maybe the fuel/air purge pump helps. I like seeing how much fuel is left and I Like the idea of not losing any retaining nuts done that before. kind of makes cutting exciting again.

I just purchased one of these with a 24" bar-my other saw is a 359 with a 20" bar. This saw is a significant upgrade from the 359. It's a little pricey but I would highly recommend this saw.

impressive power and handling
Never used a saw this powerful that was this easy to handle. Very difficult to make this saw even break a sweat. Great build quality. No regrets.

tons of power
Bought 3 of these saws for my landscaping
Business and we're running 24" bars on em
I love how they cut fast and clean no matter
What wood we put em to they cut through like a
Hot knife through butter. I'm a big fan of husqvarna.

Ive been logging for 10 years since i was 16 now ive ran huskie all 10 years of that and this is probabally the best huskie ive ran i used to have two saws in the woods with me a 272 for chopping and a 359 for limbing and due to weight and power and now i only have to carry one saw because its light and powerful the local saw shop did not recomend the auto tune due to the cold new hampshire days but i havnt had a problem with it at all and the self adjusting oiler is great. overall its a great saw and i love it
