HUSQVARNA 395 XP®
small but mighty
we had a big swap willow fall over our dock at the cottage we are on an island so this was a big nightmare for us. This tree main truck was 93 inch around this chainsw cut though the tree like butter very impressed. I bought my hubby a Yard machine 2 years agao and it broke after using it 5 times and the part is not available so it is a piece of junk now. But your chainsaw was by far the best thing we have ever used to date. Good Good.

A number of large oak trees have fallen over the years on a cattle ranch I manage in Northern California, usually we only cut the limbs off and leave the truck behind.
This last winter was really wet and windy and we had another monster oak fall, I told my son I'm tired of leaving big tree trunks so I purchased a Husky 395xp to cut through 3-4 ft diameter wood. Bottom line, I have been extremely happy with the 395xp both with tons of power and easy to handle for a big saw, no more big trunks to rot away. Would highly recommend.

I just got done rebuilding/restoring a Husqvarna 394xp. This was my first 90cc class saw that I have owned from Husqvarna. This saw was very well built and is proceeded by the 395xp it is a very similar saw so I figured I could leave the review for the 395xp after having cut with one.
The saw has plenty of power I buried a 28" full compliment chain in 40" plus oak with out the saw even wincing. I use this saw on any large project that I need a big saw on. It is always ready to work and balances well. I do not do this for a living but I have no doubt that if you need a saw to work hard all day on large wood this would be your saw. I have had zero issues with this saw since I restored it.
When I cut with the 395xp it was a tad slower then my 394 and felt like it had slightly less power but I did a few things to the 394xp to really wake it up. I bet if I were able to spend a few days tweaking the saw to my liking I could have really had that thing cutting great. It has plenty of power and is fairly light for the amount of power it produces.
It can be a little intimidating purchasing a saw over $1000.00 but it is worth every penny and will reliably serve you for years of hard abuse. I highly recommend this large saw for all your big cutting needs.

Great saw from medium to large use the only issues I've encountered were the top cover screws get striped out from the vibration and the bar oil continues to flow even with the saw off. Other than that great saw

The 395 Xp is a well balanced powerfull chainsaw. The power is consistant through all RPM's. This saw gets the job done in a timely and efficent manner.

This saw has more than enough power to cut any tree you need to. This saw is a bit heavy but you hardly notice it when you start cutting . Overall it is a great saw.

Can't hardly believe the throttle response of this saw. Super eazy to get to maintance parts like the plug and filter. When me and my buddies go get fire wood now I'm done way before they are. I think they will be retireing their sthils and getting husqvarnas. Ha!

I have used the Husqvarna 272 XP at 72cc. for a few years and thought that the 395 XP at 93.6 cc would be a real power house , I was just a little disappointed with its performance and power , But its faster than my 272 XP and more torque, I thought it would have had allot more then it did .and a chain adjuster on the outside cover would be nice . don't get me wrong , it is a nice saw , but I feel it was under powered for what I thought I was buying . the weight was nice to handle and balance , a little bulk on the overall size but ok. starts very well two pulls on most starting attempts, the fuel tank was nice to see the fuel level in the tank, choke feature is nice as well , out for choke and just push in for the fast idle . I thought of buying the 385 ,or the 390 XP but I liked the external chain break on the 395 XP. I think I’m just Power Hungry . Nice Saw Keep up the Good work
