Little power house
Saw has great power and chain speed for such a small light weight but rugid saw. This is now my favorite saw of my collection of xp saws.

awsesome saw
I've cut approximately 30 pickup loads of firewood so far with this saw. The 346 starts easily every time, hot or cold. A compression release keeps the engine from jerking the pull rope. There is lots of power on tap for cutting even dry locust with ease. the air cleaner system is designed very well. Checking the air filter on the same frequency as my other saws reveals less dirt. I would recommend this saw to anyone.

Excellent
This saw is such a major improvement over the non-professional saws I've used in the past. It starts fast, even if not used for months, warms up fast and is VERY easy to handle. With a sharp chain, it flies through the cut.

The 346 XP Durability
I bought three of these saws for use by forestry students at their annual summer camp training. During this camp they receive an intensive 3-day basic chainsaw safety training module. I have found the 346 XP to be a reliable and durable chainsaw. Forestry students can be hard on chainsaws especially during their formative training. The 346 XP has great power to drop trees from 6 inches in diameter up to and including large 24-inch diameter trees using the bore-cut method. I like the fact that the saw filter stays clean and this results in super performance. I would hightly recommend the 346 XP for the professional who is working in smaller diameter timber stands doing harvesting or timber stand improvement.

Great Saw
I bought this saw to replace my Husqvarna 353 and it has not disappointed. It has great power, but most of all, it handles great. It is slim, lightweight and the ergonomics are great. I really like that they added a primer bulb. It starts in 2-3 pulls from cold and 1 pull when warm. So far, I am extremely pleased.

346xp
I have purchased many Husqvarna chainsaws over the years but I have to say I am the most impressed with the 346xp NE I just purchased. This saw is very fast cutting for the weight. Using the primer bulb it will start with only 2 pulls when cold. I would highly recommend this to a friend.
