Really Good Saw!! This is, by far, the best chainsaw I've ever had. It goes through both softwoods and hardwoods with ease. Not much low end torque, but when you rev it up, it goes through wood like it was butter!! It is light, nimble, and has very little vibration. My only concern is the warranty period. I am a landowner, not a professional, and I thought this saw would have a 2 year warranty; instead, it only is warranted for 6 months. So, if that is important to you, you might want to select another of their saws that has a longer warranty. November 6, 2011
GREAT SAW I bought this saw to replace an older Jonsereds that was just worn out. I have only cut for a couple of hours, but so far it does exactly what I expected..it's light, starts well, and it cuts wood--fast! October 31, 2011
Powerful lightweight saw I replaced my old 55 with a new 346 XP. The 346 is better than the 55 in every way. One thing I did not like was the saw had to have a very sharp chain in order to cut. I was always sharpening the chain. I was going to switch to a 3/8 chain but I switched to Stihl chain instead and that problem was solved. Stihl is a far superior chain than the Oregon. For the light weight of the saw it really cuts. I have the 20" bar and use it on my 110 acres. I alway thought HUSQVARNA was the best value in chainsaws and this saw reinforces that thought. HUSQVARNA 346 XP AT 54 YEARS OF AGE I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CHAINSAWS THAT I THOUGHT WERE GOOD PERFORMERS AND SO-SO DEPENDABLE. WELL, THE LAST SAW I JUST PURCHASED WAS A HUSQVARNA 346 XP AND LET ME TELL YOU I JUST WENT FROM GOOD TO GREAT !! I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE SAW'S POWER, EASE OF MAINTENENCE, EASE OF STARTING AND THE OVERALL DESIGN OF THE SAW IS FANTASTIC. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SAW TO ANYONE WHO REALLY WANTS A GREAT SAW. This is the best saw for the money. Awesome saw. I had a Husky 41 for 15 years. This saw has an amazing power band, good balance and rips through wood like nothing I have seen. Starts on first pull most of the time. Hot or Cold. I could not be happier with my purchase. October 16, 2011
346xp Bought this saw to replace a stihl 034, cuts great real fast, never let me down in the two years i have owned it, i cut arround 8 cords of wood a year, glad i went with a husky, i thought about the 260 pro but hands down a bettter saw, i gave the saw a value of good because, its a little on the pricey side but hey, with a saw so easy to use and start its worth it thanks for a great saw. EASY STARTING, RELIABLE SAW This is a great saw. Purchased after having issues with my other saw and needed a backup. This saw will handle anything you throw at it. One pull starting and has been reliable for about 4 cords of cutting through white and red oak trees. Lighter than my other saw and has plenty of power. Cost more than I wanted to spend but worth it once you get it out in the field October 12, 2011
They Made It Right The bottom line is the 346XP new edition is totally sick, it is nimble, light and powerful. Get chaps and wear them, this saw will make fast work of your thigh. Ear muffs are a must! You will struggle to find anyone with problems with this saw, that is why I bought it. Well, mine lost compression after about 14 months, and through a series of events that lasted 89 days, Husqvarna sent me a new saw to my door step. It took a while, but once everybody involved got on the same page Husqvarna made it right. They truly stand by their products. Make sure you have a good dealer, a good dealer is very important. Thank you Husqvarna, I am a loyal, lifetime customer! September 21, 2011
