sturdy and dependable The tornadoes blew through Alabama on April 27, 2011. My parents had trees down on their property that prevented both ingress and egress. I parked a block away and picked my way to their home. Our trusty residential grade chainsaw would not start (NOT Husqvarna) but we were able to borrow the neighbors chainsaw (again, NOT Husqvarna). It worked on the small stuff but was working me to death. Around lunch I had one car lane opened up and exclaimed to the parents that I would return with another chainsaw. I purchased the Husqvarna 353 E-Tech plus all the trimmings. I have always wanted one as the Husqvarna quality is legendary. I received a brief but thorough inservice on the new equipment and then got back to work. Now I am down to the "thick stuff". I can offer that the Husqvarna 353 E-Tech sawed through the rest of the trees like it was made of warm butter. I also assisted our neighbor who had kindly loaned us one of their chainsaws, he had gotten to the point of struggling with the larger portions and I was able to come in right behind him and complete the job with minimal effort. I know that my view might be partially skewed as I was comparing a new chainsaw to older models, but with ease of use right out of the gate plus low vibrations and light fuel consumption I realize how fortunate I am to have added this powerful gem to my arsenal. I am now looking to replace all my "residential grade" equipment with "farm grade" from Husqvarna. You guys really came through for me when we needed it most! Great all round saw I really liked the power this saw has it makes felling trees and cutting firewood a breeze. Even though it has great power it is still light enough to use to delimb trees and your back does'nt get sore. starts great too. Awsome saw! April 22, 2011
