extraordinary machine Reliable, excellent performance, extraordinary customer service. The chainsaw was taken to a farm in Turrialba, Costa Rica and Vedova & Obando are the local representatives. I am very impressed with the customer support and service. December 7, 2013
This saw is a beast I bought this saw to upgrade from my 25 year old Stihl 026 , and I must say what a difference ! I know I'm not compairing apples to apples , the Husqvarna is a much bigger saw but it is much more user friendly , it cuts silky smooth hardly any vibration if any and very easy to start 2 pulls at the most and it's running ! I tested it out on a couple of big oak blow downs from a storm and it cut through them with little to no effort . The only issue I have is the way the bar oiling system is , the oil tank is non vented and and it builds a little pressure in the tank from heat expansion which causes the oil to seep past the pump and leak a little , which is nothing that would keep me from reccomending this saw November 25, 2013
Perfect Beast We use this saw for fire rescue applications with a diamond tipped chain..it has cut everything weve thrown at it from roofing shingles to nails to aluminum siding nothing will stop this saw November 17, 2013
Perfect saw, just needs a bow blade. This is a great saw, needs a bow blade for cutting fire wood. November 13, 2013
Couldn't be happier Well, maybe I could. The saw is a bit on the heavy side. However, it cuts great. I used it for a few hours today and it started with out issue. It is by far more fuel efficient than my last saw. For a consumer grade saw this is top notch. No issues to report. November 1, 2013
Beast! i have cut about 7 cords of wood so far with this saw and have never had to adjust the idle or anything unlike other saws i have owned. i mainly cut hardwood with it and have not seen an issue with lose of power or anything. LOVE THIS SAW!!!!! out performs Stihl any day. October 28, 2013
Beats MS660 I have both a Stihl MS 660 and the husky 460 Rancher. the Husky starts easier, is easier to handle and uses less fuel. I have worked my husky hard and it never fails to deliver what is needed October 16, 2013
Potent and tough saw I've had my Husky 460 for over four years now and it has always been dependable. Cuts quickly through any type of wood. I burn wood for my main source of heat during Wisconsin's long winters, so I cut a lot of firewood. Upon felling a large pine tree earlier this year, the hinge of the tree broke unexpectedly and the tree took a slight twist from its desired felling direction and the end landed on the handle of the 460 and broke it, then rolled onto the 24" bar and bent it badly. I ordered a new handle from my local Husky dealer and had it within a week, then I installed it and a 20" bar and chain, and I was back in business. The saw looks like new again and still runs like new. Husqvarna builds a tough saw! September 30, 2013
