Extremely Dissatisfied Purchased the saw September 2012. Used it less than 2 hours. Won't start and can't determine why. Cut when would start, but no value because will not run. Wish I had never made the purchase. May 2, 2013
spend a little more After 25 + years of buying craftsman and Polan chainsaws and have them give up in short order.I finally found a chainsaw that is going to last. February 28, 2013
A beast of a chainsaw This machine is AWESOME! I have 10 acres in Louisiana with lots of trees. This chainsaw starts with little or no effort. It is just plain and simple a chainsaw that does everything I need ! I would recommend this saw to anyone ! February 20, 2013

460 Rancher Have owned other brand name chain saws, but none compare to the 460 Rancher. My first use was cutting up a 22" diameter live oak up into firewood. The 460 made quick work of the job. I wish I would purchashed a Husqvarna before now. January 15, 2013
Great Saw My brother and I just bought this saw as a gift for my dad. He was using limb and trim saws for big projects, and I can't tell you how many he's gone through over the years. Well, this saw is a BEAST. Very easy to work with and more than capable of making small work of tough jobs. Highly recommended. January 14, 2013
Good all around saw Great all around saw, needed it after Sandy, my 350 went in for muffler bolt repair. Only one little glitch, the oiler was not working properly,took it back to the dealer and repaired under warranty .Supposedly it was missing the oiler tube. Othe that that its been good. Wife wanted Husqvarna, but I wanted Stihl, bought both, 460's Husqvarna cost half as much as the Stihl. Husqvarna cuts faster than Stihl. Husqvarna is easier to handle. Stihl seems to have more power when cutting a full bar of dry wood, have to slow down and take your time with both of them. Haven't had them long enough to know which will require more maintenance or last the longest. I think they are both very good chain saws. December 25, 2012
