Very good saw I have worn out many different brand chainsaws over the years. This one is the best cutting saw for cutting down trees and sawing large logs. It is too heavy for light trim work, so I have a smaller Husqvarna for that type work. It can be set down on the ground idleing and never die. It has never bogged down on the largest hard wood trees. I replaced the 18" guide bar with a 20" and it still has plenty of extra power. February 23, 2011
cant stop this saw i got a full load of tops about 10 cords . you cant stop this saw cuts thick lines quick. cuts so good my wife has about 10 perfect cut slices to put her hot pots on a must buy February 23, 2011
very poor saw I hate this saw, but I am stuck with it. It is about impossible to start the normal way. Always have to pull the spark plug and pour a cap of gas into cylinder to start it. Took it back for repairs, same thing. I don't recommend this saw, I will never buy this brand again, will get a Stilh or a Poulan. February 23, 2011
Rancher's Choice We own 15 acres in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains in southern Oregon. Needless to say, there are plenty of trees and brush that need to be trimmed or cleared. I bought a Rancher 455 chainsaw for these jobs. I have found its power, size, and ease of use invaluable and appreciate the decompression value which makes starts nearly effortless. Breaking it down for maintainence is easy and straightforward. I am delighted to own this fine piece of equipment! February 23, 2011

Cuts like a charm I go in the woods alot and having this chainsaw has made my life so much easier. It cuts like a charm.I would'nt own anything else. February 23, 2011
I had to get my own... Borrowed a neighbors HUSQVARNA since none of my other (4) chain saws wouldn't start. After two minutes I knew I had to get one for myself. Bought a 455 RANCHER and immediately started cutting Mesquite, went on to telephone poles and then rail ties. Of course not all in one day. February 23, 2011
Great cutting chainsaw Recently purchased the 455 series and I must say it has lived up to all its expectations. I would recommend this product to anyone who cuts several cords of wood each year. February 23, 2011
