Great saw if you can get it started I bought it new, assembled it, and follwed the instructions on first starting it - no go! Went to the web site and tried it's version and no go. Then tried the version from their experts and no go. Took it in to the dealer for warranty and they gave me another starting procedure and you guessed it - no go. The only way I can start this saw when it is cold is to carefully use starting fluid. Once it is warm it starts on the first pull, but don't let it cool down. I live in CO at 8700 feet, maybe they might want to consider starting capabilities at differnt allitudes. November 29, 2012

Great chainsaw for the money! Always wanted to try a Husqvarna saw and this one was a great choice. Starts easy, runs great and uses very little gas. Could not ask for more and highly recommend! November 1, 2012

OVER ALL WORK HORSE I HAVE OWNED A CRAFTSMAN CHAINSAW IN WHICH I TOOK A SLEDGE HAMMER TO NOW ITS BEING USED FOR ITS PURPOSE AS A PAPER WEIGHT WENT AND BOUGHT THE 455 RANCHER AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT OWNED IT FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND EVEN AFTER STORING IT FOR THE WINTER STARTS RIGHT UP THIS IS THE ONLY CHAINSAW I WILL EVER OWN September 2, 2012
