We were given this chainsaw as a wedding gift our choice. And we love it. It is fast and makes less work. We love the product and would recommend to anyone.

Would purchase again
The way I determine if a product is worth its salt is if I would buy it again if I were ever in the market again. And I would definitely purchase the 450e again. Great saw!!

Starts every time
I have had the chainsaw for over a year and use it a hour or so every other week. IT STARTS every time on 1st or 2nd pull - this i sthe most important factor to me since I have had ~5 lower end saws in the past and would put off work because I had no faith in the saw actually running or the extra time needed to get it running.

Ive used this saw now for 2 yrs of moderately rough usage, and it has performed admirably. i generally cut a winters worth of wood in july, aug, and sept which means long hours of use and demanding endurance of the product, at which it seems to excel. at present ive never needed a tune up and have only required the basics in care, ie chain sharpening and air filter cleaning. this size is a good choice for moderate size lumber and has plenty of power to tear through all hardwoods up to (and sometimes over) the 18" bar that it comes with.

Love this chainsaw !!
This saw is well balanced. Solid construction. I looked at the Stihl & Echo but couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend any Husqvarna product.

450 E series
Incredible saw. Plety of power, great balnce, great value and durability. I heat with wood and cut approx 5-6 cords of wood a winter, plus maintain 140 acres of woods and cut and keep a large supply of wood for our deer camp. Easy to handle, easy to transport. Tool less chain adjustment is great. Incredible saw at a great price. I'll only buy Husqvarna.

Powerfull saw
I'm not a fan of writing reviews, but this saw requires one. I've had this saw for 3 burning seasons and have not had one single issue with it. It starts every time in hot or cold weather. I was very suprised with the power, balance and fuel consumption. I pruchased my 450-e that had a 16" bar and installed an 18" bar. I heard that you lose power when adding a larger bar but I did not see much if any power loss. Keep it clean and sharp and you will be so happy you purchased this HUSKY saw. This is great reliable product and this saw has been nothing short of what I wanted and expected.
