Great saw!!
Had another brand of chainsaw, you would run it for a while, shut it off and it would not restart until it had completely cooled down. Found out right away that this husqvarna saw will start hot or cold every time. It feels good in your hands and cuts like a dream!!!! I highly recommend this saw. May cost a little more than the cheapest brand, but it's worth every penny and it cuts circles around the others!!!!!!

Better than Dad's Husky
In the 80s my dad bought a husqvarna chainsaw to cut enough firewood to heat his house. I remember it being a very relyable saw that he used for 25 years. It outlasted him as a matter of fact. Now I have a wooded acreage of my own to care for. Right out of the box it was running strong and cuts through everything I need quickly. With all the updated features it is a comfortable to use saw, even better than Dad's.

Very surprising power/speed
I consider myself a chainsaw snob.I was cutting a fence row for my neighbor with my "pro grade" saw of another brand, hit wire and ruined my chain. So he said I could use his 445.I laughed when I first seen it.I never buy or use saws that cost less than $500.I didn't laugh long, this little saw absolutely eats trees .I was dropping 20 " solid locust trees with the speed of a 65 cc saw.I now own one and its my go to saw for small and medium sized trees.Very easy on fuel. The combined start/stop/choke takes a little getting used to,especially with gloves on,but the saw starts very easy, idles smoothly .Cant go wrong for the money.

Husqvana 445 chain brake
Be sure to have the chain brake in the off position before taking chain brake cover off . If you should get the cover off with it being in brake position, the cover will not go back on due to the brake band being too tight to fit over the drum. For a procedure for getting this band back in the "off" postion see YouTube's "Husqvarna Chain Brake" video. I did, but instead of using large needle nose pliers to rotate the "wheel" I used a large bade screwdriver then a small crowbar to rotate the spring wheel. Watch the spring, it will injure if allowed to shoot out of the housing. Other than this chain brake potential problem the 445 is a nice saw. Used a Model 50 Special for over 20 years and still runs fine, and has done an awful lot of cutting on the same chain bar, but am now replacing it so I can have 2 Husqvarna s "on-line" at home for unplanned storm damage.

This chainsaw is great as to power and ease of starting
I bought this chainsaw after researching other brands and engine sizes. I found that this chainsaw's features were superior to the other saws. I found this chainsaw's starting procedure easy to follow and the tightening of the chain also easy to perform. As a consumer I feel this is an excellent chainsaw and would reccommend to a friend...

Great chainsaw
I purchased this chainsaw for cutting firewood. I have no experience with a chainsaw. This one is easy to start, easy to use and I have had no trouble with it.

One powerfull saw
I bought 2 of these saws for my dad and I to use, and they are the best thing since gas came along. They got more then enough power and they are light weight. One heck of a saw!
