440 Chainsaw I have only used my chainsaw a couple of times, but I found it easy to start and easy to handle. There was a little hesitation when I started my cut, but the power was adequate to get the job done. February 25, 2011
Great chainsaw. The Husky 445 is a great homeowner saw. I purchased this saw because I wanted a saw for everyday woodcutting chores. I also own a Husky 266XP (which is a great saw for big jobs) as well as an Echo 3000 (which is a great saw for limbing and other small jobs). For the normal around the house/farm job, the 445 is super. It is much lighter than the 266, but has plenty of power. I really like this saw! February 24, 2011
Husquvarna440E The saw runs great. Starts up great even in the cold weather. Had the saw for 2 years. Only put in the shop once for a little carb adjustment. Overall has plenty of power and is light weight compared to a saws of equal size made by other companies. Would not buy any other brand other than Husqvarna. February 24, 2011
Ergonomics For the performance of this size chainsaw, this is the most comfortable chain saw I have ever used. The low vibrations and light weight allowed me to use the saw for up to 4 hours of use with little muscle fatigue. February 24, 2011
Husky 440 review Good multi-purpose saw for around a home. Not used for pure wood heat application but does most things well. Easy to start and lightweight. I use a older, larger Husky for heavy cutting. February 24, 2011
Bar oil leaked badly after two uses I got this Husquavarna product because I had heard good things about your products, and because Consumer Reports gave this model a "Best Buy" recommendation. Unfortunately, after two uses, the bar oil began leaking badly. I tried to identify the problem, but could not. When I returned it to Lowes, they could not identify the problem either. 440e review this is the best chainsaw I could have purchased for the money. It is extremely reliable, starts easy every time, and cheap to run. The oiler is terrific. February 24, 2011
Great saw fair price This is my first chain saw model from Husqvarna and I must say I am very pleased. I feel the saw is balanced well and has plenty of power. Before I purchased it, I checked out the reviews and saw that people had a hard time getting the clutch cover back on. I agree it was not simple but after I did it once, I know the next time will be a sanp. This is a great saw to consider if you find the rancher a bit too heavy. February 24, 2011
