First-time Husky Owner
Needed a saw for yard work. Owned two light-weight saws over the years, but now my lot is half covered with large-med oak and figure I need a bit more muscle. Out of the box, cold startup is good each time. However, warm startups can be touchy, but following the directions exactly pays off. Function of the saw is very good overall.

Geat Saw For Smallholding
My old Sthil saw finally gave up the ghost today so I went to my local dealer to get a new one, up until recently they only stocked Sthil and that was all I was expecting them to have but they have recently started selling Huskys as well. I was gonna go for the Sthil landowner but they only had one and it was sold, spoke to the guy in the shop and as I wanted one there and then I went for the 435, what a great decision! The assembled the saw in the shop and fired it up. When I got home I couldn't believe how nice it was to use and after a few hours of using it was running smooth and was light to handle. Very economical and powerful, so glad I have gone to a Husky!

Saws circles around my Poulin
Didn't realize my Poulin vibrated so much until I bought the 435. Lots of power and a smooth operating throttle.

Great Saw, but............
Although I really do like the saw; I had a very difficult time getting it to start the first time. I followed your directions exactly with no success. After several attempts I finally just held the throttle down and pulled the starter rope and the saw started. Once it started it ran great and cut like a hot knife through butter. I cut down and cut up three fairly large Quaken Aspen trees and the saw never even slowed down. My only complaint is that you might want to talk to your tech writers and see if there is a better way to write the directions for starting or add a step to the troubleshooting section about holding down the throttle.

My first Husqvarna purchase has reaped great benefits. I did a lot of online research before buying. I'm not disappointed. Easy to start and restart, add fuel and oil, and clean up. Plenty of power for around-the-house needs. Great safety features. The carrying case was a great addition.

This is my first chain saw, and my only complaint is the directions. I feel they sort of assumed one has used a chainsaw before. Definitely not quick and easy directions for a first time chainsaw-er. Difficult to figure out how to tighten the bar, the amount of bar and chain oil it needed, etc. The directions were just hard to decipher. Other than the directions, I am extremely pleased with the chainsaw. Once I got it running, it was easy to use. Sliced through trees like butter. The maneuverability is good, and it isn't too heavy - even for my wife. It's really easy to start. As far as chainsaws go, it's pretty awesome.
