Is it a hand saw
My three times trying to use this saw have been frustrating. It "fired" twice and I exhausted myself pulling the starter.

I can even start it
I'm a 4'11" stocky, 55year old woman, I'm the only one who uses this saw. I cut 6 cord of wood, then i had to replace the bar. I was using bar oil I got from the local farm store, I won't do that again. You get what you pay for. I use only high quality bar oil that cost 2x's, but it last longer, but dosen't wear the bar down.

Power, Price, and Features
I have had many chainsaws but this was my first Husky saw. I was looking for the lightest and best 50cc. class saw I could find. I found it at a fair price in Husky. It also provides features that you only find in professional saws that cost hundreds more, like a magnesium body, bulb primer, and a decompression valve. It is the easiest starting saw I have ever owned and is also the most vibration free. Cutting with this saw is a dream as it rips up anything you sink it into. I like this Husky saw so much that I think a bigger Husky is in my future.

I bought my saw a little over a year ago and I have worked it to death. Amazingly it won't die! I have used it to gather firewood for two winters now (approx. 8 cords each year), and have recently started clearing my new peroperty with it. It initially came with a 16" bar during my clearing proccess I need a little extra length so I pulled the bar off of the Husqvarna 44 i have and put it on my 435, still within the recommended length. It worked like a champ. My neighbors were so impressed with its performance as we were working on building a pond retention wall. that one went out and bought the 455 the next day. the other has already stated that in the coming months he is going to be buying one also instead of a large one in the other brand he already uses. I recommend these saws to anyone who plans on doing any cutting at all. they are easy to use and handle. they require only the minimalist maintance, and care. Feed it gas and and oil and it will do anything you ask of it. I have cut trees up to and beyond its recommended size and have used the saw all day long with no problems. I used it in the South Carolina heat for an entire day and it never even over heated. I will never use another brand of saw!
