Why did I wait? Great value, and comfortable. Had considered the "Homeowner" chaps, but decided to step it up a bit in perceived safety and quality. I am not sorry. I have worn these for days on end while cutting up trees in an overgrown back yard. I have even worn then while running my brushcutter, they take the sting away! (no more getting hit with flying bits of tree and thorny bushes). July 25, 2013
Great Protection For The Money I have used apron chaps in the past and found them less than ideal for timber work. These full wrap chaps fit very well and stay put well. A pair of suspenders work well to help us folks with a little more table muscle than other folk to keep them up at the waiste. They are made very durable and the 1000 Denier Cordura gives me a safe feeling just in case I slip. They also work well in timber where thickets of bryers are present to save the front of your legs from scratches. Another fine product from the folks at Husqvarna-Highly recommended. Also like the colour orange for cutting wood during the hunting seasons here in Mo. November 19, 2012
Good Protection I chose full wrap chaps for increased protection over apron style chaps. I like the heavy, Cordura front which holds up to abrasion. I like the fold-down belt which lets me adjust the effective length of the chaps. They are relatively comfortable to wear for this style garment. I did stitch the bottom (leg) straps, to the Cordura shell only, a few more inches than they came from the factory, to prevent the back flaps from moving, after a long day of wearing them. They are also a good value ($) compared to some competitive brands of similar quality. September 2, 2011
