New Husqvarna K 760 - improved in every detail!

With the launch of the new K 760, Husqvarna takes another step toward increased user-friendliness. Optimized engine performance, enhanced startability and ergonomics are just some of the features that have been improved. The result is a powerful, efficient and reliable all-around power cutter, with a further enhanced power/weight ratio and substantially reduced emissions.

Emissions

As was the case with its predecessor, the new K 760 is the obvious choice for demanding and environmentally-aware operators. The new cylinder is designed to increase the power cutter’s capacity in many ways. Due to the cylinder and an additional cooling fin, emissions have been reduced by 15% compared to the previous model. The machine will maintain optimal operating temperatures, making it less sensitive to environmental temperature changes.

Startability

The digital ignition system facilitates better startability and a smoother engine when running. This leads to very low vibrations, <2.5m/s², which significantly reduces the strain on the user. The integration of the fast idle lock in choke is another improvement that now makes starting easier.

Ergonomics

The new, lighter blade guard made of magnesium assists in better balance and contributes to the overall lower weight. The blade guard can also be adjusted, making operation and altering cutting positions easier. It contains a reversible blade bushing that allows operations to easily switch between blades with different center holes.

The new K 760 has one of the best vibration ratings on the market, at <2.5m/s². This means the operator will not be fatigued as quickly and can finish projects more efficiently.

Improved dust control

The wet cutting kit with a progressive valve significantly increases dust control. The progressive valve is fitted with distinct end positions, making it easy to set the exact water flow for each application, which minimizes waste and slurry.

A new tank ventilation system ensures optimal air supply to the fuel tank and at the same time prevents dust from entering. Together with the heat-resistant rear belt cover, operators receive a machine with maximum operating times and extended life.

The new K 760 hosts a number of features that were cutting edge on the previous K 760: the low-emissions X-Torq® engine, the effective Active Air Filtration™ cleaning system and SmartCarb™, the advanced carburetor which automatically controls fuel/air mixtures to always give the engine maximum power.

The K 760 is a useful all-around machine and well-suited to most indoor cutting jobs as well as outdoor cutting of concrete and stone when carrying out landscaping, renovations or new construction projects. It is also perfect for cutting smaller holes, as well as pipe, asphalt and metal cutting. The updates apply to all machines in the K 760 power cutter range: K 760, K 760 Oilguard, K 760 Cut-n-Break, and K 760 Rescue (Note: K 760 Cut-n-Break and K 760 Rescue do not have magnesium blade guard at the moment).
