“With this competition we want to show the real people using Husqvarna chainsaws. Because in the end, that’s what Husqvarna is all about – working with our customers”, says Shellila Tan, Marketing Communications Manager at Husqvarna.
Husqvarna presented their first chainsaw more than 50 years ago and now has innumerable users all over the world, but this is the first time that the company has set out to find its most devoted enthusiasts.
Stories About Anything
Do you want to take part in the competition? Well, the process is simple, anyone interested in participating writes a motivation letter on his or her country’s Husqvarna site. The story, limited to 250 words, should motivate why you consider yourself to be a Husqvarna ambassador and describe which Husqvarna chainsaw you have used in your work. The stories can be about anything: a spectacular tree felling or an amazing landscaping job.
“This is to enforce the fact that Husqvarna products are designed, thought about and made to meet all market needs. What matters most is the empowering story content. So, if you’re a passionate, fairly experienced user; perhaps with an adventurous job or a special skill, we’d love to hear from you,” says Shellila Tan.
The competition will end on 1st December and the international jury, reviewing all the applications, will ultimately select ten finalists to the second round. Husqvarna employees in the UK then choose the top three winners. The first prize is a 560XP Chainsaw with second and third prizes consist of Safety equipmnet.
