Professional arborist and two time ISA Tree Climbing Champion, Josephine Hedger of Hampshire was presented with two Husqvarna chainsaws - T536Li XP 12" cordless top handle and a 550 XP G 15" with a combined RRP value of over £1500.00.

Last September we asked you to tell your story on why you could be considered a Husqvarna ambassador. With many brilliant tales of arborism and landscaping from around the globe coming in we narrowed the competition down to three deserved winners. In 1st place was Thomas Wilson of South Humberside receiving a brand new Husqvarna 560xp chainsaw. 2nd was Nick Rose from Woking winning technical clothing and 3rd place went to Phillip Walker of Derbyshire receiving some Husqvarna classical clothing. All three of the winners will also now become Husqvarna ambassadors with their stories used in local sales campaigns across the world.

The World Logging Championship 2012, WLC, turned out to be a very exciting competition and a great success for Husqvarna. All medallists used the Husqvarna chainsaw 576 XP. Alexandr Sokolov from Russia won the gold medal and can now entitle himself the world’s best chainsaw operator. Jukka Perämäki from Finland claimed the silver and Urs Amstutz from Switzerland got the bronze.

James McLeod has been announced as the winner of the Husqvarna 550XP competition. After reading about it on ArbTalk, Mr McLeod entered the free prize draw and was randomly selected by a panel at Husqvarna.

After four days of competing in five challenging disciplines, 111 devoted loggers were narrowed down to three overall medallists. Russia, Finland and Switzerland took the gold, silver and bronze. And so did Husqvarna – as all medallists used the Husqvarna 576 XP chainsaw. “We are proud to provide the tool of choice for this year’s top winners and would like to congratulate them all on an amazing performance” says Niklas Bergquist, Global Product Manager Petrol Chainsaws at Husqvarna.

John Ankers from Wales is the winner of the UK Husqvarna 560XP Launch Prize Draw, winning himself the new iconic chain saw worth over £830.

Professional forester, Ben Anderson of Warwickshire has won the Husqvarna Global Professional of the Year Global competition, scooping the £33,000 Limited Edition VW Amarok 4x4 Truck top prize. Runner up, Jonathan Latham from York is also a winner, taking home a Husqvarna 545 RXT Brush Cutter and over £300 worth of Husqvarna safety equipment.
