“Husqvarna wants to be one of the first in meeting the new regulations, which apply to both European and US legislation. The new machines will have less environmental effect while remaining highly productive, an important step for the construction business”, says Erik Lundberg, Chief Product Engineer Flat Saws, Husqvarna Construction Products.

FS 5000 D and FS 7000 D are powerful, reliable and perfect for jobs that require high production rates. FS 7000 D is a walk-behind machine suitable for road work, large sawing jobs and deep floor sawing. FS 5000 D also manages road work, small to mid-size jobs, service work and floor sawing. Both machines are extremely versatile and productive. The engines of both flat saws are now electronically controlled and have digital displays with all the important functions easy to monitor. This way, it is easier for the user to have control over the machine functions and performance.

Efficient and user friendly

Just like all of Husqvarna’s machines, the flat saws are developed with a clear focus on ergonomics. They come with digital controls that make them even more user friendly and productive. It also gives maximum performance with a minimum of strain.

“Additionally, FS 7000 D has a higher output compared to its predecessor FS 6600, but can still handle the same size of diamond blades”, says Erik Lundberg.

FS 5000 D and FS 7000 D were successfully introduced on the market during World of Concrete in January 2014, and have quickly grown popular worldwide.
