Efficient demolition in oil refinery

In a Brazilian oil refinery, every 24 to 36 months it is necessary to clean the coke tank since the cracked oil solidifies, leaving the left overs in the tank. The oil refinery uses a team of workers with pneumatic hammers to physically enter the tank to break the coke residue into pieces to be able to then remove them. Due to the hazardous conditions, workers are only allowed to stay in the tank for a maximum of 20 minutes. This process takes around 15 to 20 days to complete.
