Husqvarna DM 340

(965 98 72-01)

An easy to operate drill motor from Husqvarna. The DM 340 features an ergonomic handle that makes it easy to carry around. The controls are designed and positioned to further enhance ergonomics and to facilitate drilling and set up. The DM 340 is designed for medium core drilling up to Ø 400 mm together with Husqvarna drill stands. The machine has three gear stages, so the operator can find the optimal drilling speed. The LED indicator shows the load of the machine, allowing drilling at maximum pressure, for best performance.

Benefits

  • Load indicator
  • Equipped with Elgard™ which indicates via the LED when the machine is overloaded. This allows the operator to always drill at maximum pressure and prevents engine damage and extends product life.
  • When making a starter hole speed can be reduced by half using SmartStart.
  • SoftStart™ – electronic current limiter means full speed is reached about two seconds after start.
  • The machine has a designed handle for easier transport and faster set-up.
  • The controls are designed and positioned to enhance ergonomics and facilitate operation.
  • The water hose can turn 180°, for greater flexibility in terms of setup configuration.
  • Overload protection

The Elgard™ feature avalible on several of our drillmotors facilitates that if the motor runs at too high a load for a long period, it will start to pulsate. If the load is not reduced the motor will shut off, to prevent overheating. Elgard™ significantly increases the machine’s service life.

  • Smart Start®

Several of our products has the Smart Start® feature which means that by pressing the SmartStart button speed is reduced by half, making it easier to start drilling.

  • Softstart™

An electronic current limiter for softer starts. Full speed is reached about two seconds after the switch is turned on.

  • Watercooled 3 speed gearbox

Watercooled 3 speed gearbox for optimal drilling performance and longer service intervals.

Applications

  • Angle drilling
  • Barriers
  • Horizontal drilling
  • Stitch drilling
  • Water evacuation
  • Vertical drilling
  • Channels, pipes and cables
