Things to keep in mind when you buy a chainsaw

Power and weight
If you are inexperienced with using a chainsaw it is better to pick a lighter version, since they are easier to handle. Professional users, working full days in the forest, will of course also appreciate a low weight chainsaw.

But if you only do garden work an electrical chainsaw is an excellent alternative. If you get two batteries you can charge one while you are using the other. Using an electric chainsaw is also practical and comfortable, since the vibrations are smaller and it is less noisy. And you don’t have to worry about fumes and emissions.

In order to save time maintaining your chainsaw make sure that the air filter and fuel pump are easily accessible, and that it’s easy to tighten the chain.
