Booiman Tuinen is a modern, medium sized landscaping company. Enthusiastic staff and an inspiring leadership has put them right at the forefront of their industry. They specialise in garden construction, garden maintenance, tree care, landscaping and turf care. With 18 years behind them, and 21 employees, they’re a successful growing company.
We asked Henk which jobs give him the most satisfaction: “Almost everyday is interesting. We are currently working on a contract with the new Van Der Valk Hotel in Sneek. It’s very challenging as it demands all our skills and experience to develop and manage this vast property.”
What would you say you look for most when buying your equipment: “In our business, every job is different and we need the machines to work the way we do. Especially as we are the ones often moulding the landscape. Reliability, ergonomics, cost of ownership and power ratio are what I’d say our machines have to live up too. That’s what can make or break a company.”
You have been working with Husqvarna products since 1998. What difference has this made to the work and the company: “Before we worked with machines from many different companies. I decided that Husqvarna was the right partner for my business. Apart from superb products they offer me the best support. I deal directly with Tiijms in Geesbrug and they are proactive as well as service orientated. Their advice is always excellent. Apart from products, they help me with financing, recurrent services, assistance in the field. Yes working with Husqvarna is definately a collaboration that pays off.”
