Hygienic and slip-resistant polished concrete floor

The hard, glossy surface of a Husqvarna Hiperfloor is easy to clean and therefore suitable for areas with high hygienic requirements, such as hospitals, food production facilities etc.

Refining old concrete floors

Grind - Fill - Harden - Polish - Protect

Grind
The concrete floor is first ground to establish the required flatness and/or aggregate exposure. This also removes what is in many cases the softer, unstable surface layer of concrete.
Fill
Small holes, air-bubbles and other small surface imperfections are then filled using Husqvarna GM 3000™ to ensure a smooth uniform surface.
Harden
The surface of the concrete is then treated with Husqvarna Hiperhard™ water based concrete hardener. This produces a homogenously hardened surface and creates a non-dusting floor.
Polish
Polishing via progressively finer stages of resin bond diamond tools is done to achieve the desired surface gloss.
Protect
Protection by impregnation using Husqvarna Hiperguard™ is finally done to enhance water and stain resistance of floor.
