Optimised performance

As was the case with its predecessor, the new K 760 is the obvious choice for demanding and environmentally-aware cutter operators. The new cylinder is designed to increase the power cutter’s capacity in many ways. Due to the cylinder and an additional cooling fin, emissions have been reduced by 15 percent compared to the previous model. This also ensures optimal operating temperatures and it makesthe machine less sensitive to climate variations.
The digital ignition system, optimised for the K 760 engine, offers better startability and also makes the engine run smoother. This leads to very low vibrations, <2,5m/s2, which significiantly reduces the strain on the user. (The HAV regulations introduce action and limit values for hand-arm above 2,5m/s2 ). The integration of the fast idle locik in choke is another improvement that now makes starting easier.

Improved ergonomics

Ergonomics have also been improved with the new K 760. The new, lighter blade guard made of magnesium gives the cutter better balance and provides variable guard adjustment. This makes operation and altering cutting positions easier. The new blade guard includes a reversible blade bushing that allows you to easily switch between blades with different centre holes.

Improved dust control

One improvement that increases usability and dust control is the new wet cutting kit with a progressive valve.
Fitted with distinct end positions, it is easy to set the exact water flow for each application, which minimises waste and slurry.
The new tank ventilation ensures optimal air supply to the fuel tank and at the same time prevents dust from getting in. Together with the heat-resistant rear belt cover, this provides operators with maximum operating times and extended product life.
The new K 760 also hosts a number of features from the previous K 760 model: The low-emissions
X-Torq™ engine, the effective Active Air Filtration™ filter cleaning system and SmartCarb™, the advanced carburettor which automatically controls fuel/air mixtures to always give the engine maximum power.
The K 760 is a useful all-round machine and well suited to most indoor cutting jobs as well as cutting concrete and stone when carrying out ground work, renovations or new production. It is also perfect for cutting smaller holes, as well as pipe, asphalt and metal cutting. The updates apply to all machines in the range: K 760,
K 760 Oilguard, K 760 Cut-n-Break and K 760 Rescue (K 760 Cut-n-Break and K 760 Rescue do not have a magnesium blade guard at the moment).
