The DXR 140 is the smallest and lightest member of the family
Husqvarna will arrive at Bauma in November with the new demolition robot, the DXR140. Husqvarna launched the first demolition robot, the DXR310 in 2009. In the beginning of 2010, the DXR250 released. The DXR250 is a nibble and compact robot with a fixed arm. At Bauma, the new DXR140 will be presented. The DXR140, the latest addition to Husqvarna’s new range of remote-controlled demolition robots, is the smallest and lightest member of the family.
“The DXR 140 is our smallest and most lightweight model, but it is still a very strong and powerful machine. The 15 kW motor allows the operator to utilise up to 100 percent of the breaker’s force. If you choose our 11 kW motor instead, it can be run on a 16 amp fuse”, says Thomas Nilsson, Business Manager, Demolition Equipment, Husqvarna Construction Equipment.
On indoor stands, visitors will be able to see and test Husqvarna’s extensive range of in-house developed drilling machines and stands. Here the AD10 is the latest additions- an automatic drilling system, which is in a class of its own as regards speed, ergonomics and intelligence. It has been developed with a clear user focus. The AD 10 drilling unit, in conjunction with Husqvarna’s drill motors and drill stand, offers an automatic, efficient drilling system. No manual work is needed to move the drill along the drill stand. The operator can stand comfortably upright when using it, without having to keep turning.
The new powerful WS 482 HF has a blade capacity of up to 1600 millimeters and the best power-to-weight ratio on the market.
In power cutter range, the 700, 900 and 1200 series will be presented, the new petrol driven K970 power cutters, for instance, which is a further development on the big seller, the K960. Just like the other Husqvarna power cutters, the K 970 has outstanding ergonomics. An innovation is that the rear handle is equipped with a soft insert that gives a better grip for the hand and facilitates when using your hip for support. Another innovation is a tank lid that has been moved onto the right-hand side for easier filling. In addition, the vibration damper has been further improved by adjusting the front spring.
All new power cutters models are equipped with the latest generation Active Air Filtration TM, the most effective filter system on the market, which increases filter working-life by up to one year of operational time on dry cutting.
Diagrip is Husqvarna’s unique technology for more effective diamond tools. Diagrip wall saw and floor saw blades have, in a short space of time, become very popular and in demand, due to the superior cutting capacity in combination with an increased working life. The complete range of Diagrip tools will be presented at Bauma. This encompasses wall and floor saws blades, drill bits and blades for handheld power cutters.
Within the field of surface preparation, Husqvarna will present the biggest grinder, the PG820 with accessory diamond tools.
