A great start to the new year!

World of Concrete 2015 was one of the largest yet.

More than 55 000 attendees

According to show management there were over 55 000 attendees, up from approximately 48 000 in 2014. The increase was definitely felt when the doors opened at 9:30 a.m. in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center on the first day of the show. People flooded the floor and into the Husqvarna booth. The traffic didn’t subside until late afternoon.

At the forefront of both the indoor and the outdoor booths, surface preparation products were highlighted – especially the new PG 820 RC and the small PG line that was launched during 2014.

“The PG 820 RC was a huge hit!” said David Lepki, Director of Surface Preparation Sales, “There is no doubt it was the star of the show. The one thing I heard customers say over and over again was how responsive the machine is! There was definitely a buzz around the RC.”

Every year we hold an “enter to win” promotion to share our enthusiasm for our products, innovation, and service. For this show, we took photos of our Proud Professionals (customers) and posted the photos to our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/HusqvarnaConstruction*. We had a total of 65 entries! It was amazing to see our fans excited for our products just as much as we are!

The participants were supposed to gather as many likes and shares as they could on their Facebook photo until February 13. The three photos with the most likes and shares would each win an iPad. It was wonderful to see everyone’s enthusiasm translate to our Facebook page. Our top three photos had 1 280 likes combined!
